Counting Wings

Practice counting with these butterfly friends! Click the image to download the printable worksheet.

Make sure the number of dots on the right side of the butterfly’s wings is equal to the number of dots on the left side. Kids may need to add dots on the right side to balance the numbers.

Then write the number of dots on each side in the circle below the butterfly.  Advanced learners may add the two sides together and write the answer instead.

For added fun, kids can colour the butterflies once they have the right answers.
