Hello Cards
Make these Hello Cards as great gifts for friends and family! Kids can create whatever creatures their imagination desires. This is a great home or classroom activity to help kids practice gross and fine motor skills as well as art and art appreciation.
Instructions

Get your materials. You will need coloured paper, a pencil, scissors (and possibly an adult to help), glue, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, and whatever other craft materials you want to use – feathers, pom poms, crayons or paint, buttons, etc.

Choose a colour of paper and trace your hand on it using the pencil, then cut it out (or ask an adult to help). Decide what kind of creature you’re going to make. Does it need a neck? Stripes? Spots? Whiskers? Gather your materials. We’re making a flamingo!

Decorate your creature. You can add googly eyes and pipecleaner legs. We also added a neck and beak as well as feathers.

Ta-da! You’re done! You can create as many unique creatures as you want. Then give them to friends and family as a way to say a unique hello that’s just from you!
