I’m Sorry Postcards

Need to apologize but not sure how to say it? Why not draw it! A handmade apology card will show your friend you really mean it.

These handmade apology cards are a great classroom (or home) craft to help kids think about managing emotions and making amends.

Materials required: paper, markers, pencil crayons, scissors, glue, and decorations like sequins and pom poms.

Instructions:

  • Cut one piece of paper in half. Cut the second into a smaller rectangle. Glue it to the first.
  • Using a marker, write “I’m Sorry” at the top of the paper and “For:” at the bottom. Then fill in what you’re sorry for!
  • Draw your apology on the centre piece of paper using markers and pencil crayons. Then decorate with pom poms, sequins, or other fun items.
  • Once you’re done, give your apology to your friend and make sure they know you’re sorry!
