Shadow Dance
When you’ve got a shadow, you’ve always got a friend! Get your child up and dancing with Jeremy and Jazzy and take a moment to think about friendship and being there for each other.
This can be fun alone or in groups.
In a well-lit room or outside on a sunny day, play your favourite Jeremy and Jazzy songs for a dance session! When your little ones dance, their shadows dance along with them.
Alone, they can experiment with making shapes, touching their shadow, and seeing how the shadow changes depending on where the light is. With friends, they can interact with each other’s shadows and see how angles and movement change the shadows’ response.
This is a great chance to talk to children about what it means to be a good friend, not just to others, but to themselves.
