Sun Catcher Craft

Gather your materials: cardboard, a small bowl, a pencil, scissors, paint and paintbrush, yarn, and ribbon.

Using the bowl as a guide, trace a circle on the cardboard. Add triangles around the outside – as many as you want.

Cut out your sun! Add a base coat of white to make the colour pop and then paint it a warm sunny yellow. You can use glitter paint and other warm colours to make it shine.

Grab your yarn and wrap strips in between the points of the sun. Weave them together and tie them off at the back.

Cut strips of ribbon to dangle down below your sun. Tie them to the yarn strips on the back.

Great job! You can hang your sun catcher using the yarn at the back and watch the ribbons shine in the light!
